my childhood party.

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “It’s My Party.”

…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

a free mind

a free spirit

a happy space

i love this bit

……………………………….

no one to judge

no one to complain

no inhibitions

nothing to feign

……………………………..

a party of my choice

with people from my past

my parents and my dog

the memories sure last

…………………………………

they remain with me in spirit

though they have long gone

to recreate my childhood days

is all i really want
