He had the special china laid out. As he waited, he looked over to the empty space outside his window. Memories flooded back.

Will she come. Now he was a responsible man. She would like the food and the table he had laid out for her.

He waited and waited. Night fell and he was sleepy.

Next morning he woke up to his father staring at him.There was no sign of her.

”She didnt come? Yet again! ”he asked.

”Who were you waiting for son ?” his dad. asked.

”Mom”he replied.

”But son, she died years ago”
