As I wait.(Shadorma)

Odilon Redon. The Fisherwoman, 1900. WikiArt.
Linked to BJ’s Shadorma & Beyond at MindLoveMisery’s Menagerie – where we went back to the basics – and focused on the shadorma!  A shadorma is a non-rhyming 6-line poem with a syllable count of 3/5/3/3/7/5.  Our host selected this wonderful Redon painting for one of our prompts

as I wait

he is nowhere to be seen

the silent waves

beckon me to them

endless eolian sounds numbing my mind

and I walk into the horizon
